The Creative Services team at North Point Ministries is seeking a Video Editor / Motion Designer. This role seeks to craft compelling visual stories through expert video editing and motion design that elevate our churches and captivate our audience.
This role will focus on the post-production process in the areas of video editing and motion design. If you love to craft stories and make designs leap off the screen we would love to talk to you!
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, edit, and assemble raw footage into polished final cuts for various platforms (broadcast, social, web, etc.)
- Work with the Creative Directors, Creative Leads, editors or ministry leads to develop motion design elements for various forms of media including but not limited to title packages, promotions, openers, and social media videos.
- Leverage motion design to create dynamic videos for use in live events, social media, and online.
- Collaborate with creative and production teams from pre-production through final delivery
- Maintain organized project files, version control, and adherence to post-production workflows
- Performs all editing work including researching and inserting music, sound effects, and developing storyboards for prototyping purposes.
- Collaborate closely with others and Incorporate feedback quickly and effectively while maintaining creative integrity.
- Ensure all assets meet brand and technical standards
- Assist in the capture, edit, and distribution of Sunday messages and services.
- Assist in the editing and distribution of short form message content.
- Assist fellow team members in QC’ing videos for color, formatting, audio mix, and overall production quality.
- Remains a constant student of the latest in technologies and techniques for storytelling, editing, and motion graphics to maximize efficiency and creativity

- Expert knowledge of Adobe Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.

- Strong project planning and management skills.
- Strong communication and writing skills.

Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri or Sun-Thurs, 40-45 hours a week
